Strategic Vision
The Problem
Each design team at the company operated within a siloed department in service of one product despite having clients with subscriptions to multiple products with overlapping creative deliverables. At the time, these design teams were managed by leadership without a creative background. As such, my boss and I were often leveraged as thought leaders for other creative teams.
Our Approach
We recognized that creatives could be stronger and more effective together under one department.
Any change is more effective with thoughtful and intentional change management. A change of this scale and magnitude required intentional cross-team relationship building, thoughtful communication, and careful planning to be realized successfully.
We worked together to develop the creative community at the company, gain trust, and develop a plan for uniting creative at the company.
Our Solution
In September of 2023 we integrated 3 new creative product teams into our creative department – tripling the number employees and unifying the creative teams under our leadership.
Bree has contributed a lot of thoughts and ideas to the big picture of creative at LP. Bree demonstrates enthusiasm for a more cohesive future, and naturally thinks in ways that align ideas and changes within the business.
A big part of strategic vision isn’t just having the vision — but seeing it through. This includes being positive around change and presenting such changes in a way that encourages others to adopt new ways of thinking about success. She has led by example not only for those under her management, but those above and beside her.
